Bacon and Cheese Strata for dinner tonight (Saturday.) We enjoyed it, and I particularly liked the slight mustard flavor. I made this a "low meat" recipe. I used one slice of deli ham, and about two tbsp of real bacon bits instead of the bacon. I also used Swiss cheese, not Gruyere, but close enough.
The picture is when it just came out of the oven and it was nice and puffed up. It fell, of course, but that was expected. Hope you enjoy your Easter feast!
